
This TT has been in the works for about 5 years. Featuring a BFDC motor, 30#s of rotating mass platter, and oil/lead shot for damping; the spiral tubes are filled with lead and oil. It sounds good to start, though I'm working on further damping the upper (gold) platter, which is aluminum and rings (not good sounding). The woodwork is mostly cherry with maple trim.

The record pictured is R&R, Supertramp group. It has strong bass lines, a good test for that rage in music. Mostly I listen to Jazz these days, with R&R and classical mixed in.
