I double posted this on the OMARC Facebook page because I know many in the group are Facebook-Phobic!

Thanks for all the help and suggestions from OMARC and 835onthe805.net members and the Thursday night ragchews. I've been researching every nugget of info that you've shared. Also thinking about the warnings ... It's a 100 year old house and chimney .. Some said .....may not be sooo good an idea .. Try a Gable mount instead ... Only at the back of the house would be feasible because less than 10' in front of the house gable .. almost at the same level ... is the POWER LINE .. So, I braved the ladder today for the first time (I certainly have a new respect for roofers or anyone who has to climb roofs on a daily basis) and took a few pics of my existing (unused chimney... formerly a wood stove in the basement) chimney ... (I have another chimney on the other side for the oil burner but THERE IS WAY too many power lines crossing on that side). Please check out the pics .... and help me NOT to make the wrong decision .... I'm copying the on of my original posts below. Thanks in advance. I've learned a lot and this is a great group ... even things not related to rooftop acrobatics). ***************************************************** ORIGINAL POSTING Help ...x50 Antenna installation on Chimney I Purchased a Diamond x50 antenna, coax, tape...
